KORRES™ Quercetin & Oak Antiaging Eye Primer

Hi, Everyone! I hope that you have been doing well since the last post. In this post I have a review for you. It's the Korres eye primer. When I received this I had just went ti Ulta and purchased the Too Face Shadow Insurance from Ulta (It was on sale...) Anyway, you know how much I love the NYX eyeshadow base. And I could not wait to try the two new bases I got. First of all I love the fact that it is made without; Parabens,- Sulfates, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan. What it does: This primer provides a 360-degree smooth canvas around the delicate eye area, ensuring crease-proof, long-lasting eye shadow and concealer wear. Enriched with quercetin and oak extracts, it minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to provide softer skin while visibly improving skin texture. The apricot undertone instantly corrects darkness and imperfections on the eyelid and undereye area.(Info Courtesy: www.korresusa.com)
Overall, I like the product I used  it for about a month. I have to say that given the long days my make-up stayed in place. I really don't have very oily lids, even though I do have oily skin. It retails for $21.00 if you are in the market for a primer this is very good one to think about.

Hello! I am so excited to show you guys what I got from Ulta today. First of all, they are having an AWESOME sale on cosmetics from: Maybelline, Revlon, NYX, and Physicians Formula. At 40% off this week, the sale ends on 10-2-10.  When I went to Ulta today I mainly went to purchase the NYX Nude on Nude Palette but they were sold out ): So instead I got the Bronze Smokey Eye Kit (: . I have to admit I do like the colors. I have not done a swatch with them or anything yet. But come tomorrow I will giving them a try. Now the single eyeshadow colors I got did not take a lot of thinking about them. I think that you need a black eyeshadow. And the color Rock is black with what looks like shimmer/glitter in it. I think it would look great for an special look. The lip glosses 2 are back ups, because I will search high and low when I have misplaced or lost my favorite lipgloss of the moment. I have lost WAY to many pricey lip glosses over the years. And besides,  don't act like I am the only one who has ever given someone the evil eye when they have a lip gloss on that looks JUST LIKE the one I can no longer find.(lol...smh about that!!!)  It's one of the GREAT reasons why I LOVE Nyx lip glosses. What they cost you can get 2 for the price of what most other cosmetics would charge for 1 lip gloss.  Sponge cake looked really cute. The pencils were back-ups also. The Bare Minerals Matte Foundation was FREE. I really love my Maybelline Mineral Power Foundation. Now, I now what you may be wondering is much every cost... Well are you sitting down the grand total was......$22.49 TOTAL! So if you can get to Ulta this make sure you do it will be so worth it (: Until next time...Enjoy!

How To Fix A Broken Eye Shadow

Hello, everyone! Did you know, you can easily fix broken shadows? Let me tell you how.....

Just by putting a few drops of rubbing alcohol into each one and mix to make a muddy texture, re-mold into shape, then let dry. A fixed shadow and the color and texture remain intact. Review: Coastal Scents Flat Mineral Bronzer Buffer Large Brush & NYX Cosmetics Haul

This is a review about the brush in the middle from Coastal Scents. I purchased it for just under $5.00.( I know such a great deal, right?) Here is the website if you on the market for a new brush. The rest of the stuff is some NYX products that I got from Ulta are as follows:

I use mineral make-up as you all know. I have been searching high and low for a brush that I could use for everyday. Plus, I did not want it to cost to much. I noticed that the ELF line had a brush that looks very similar in their brush collection. Which I also learned that the ELF brush handle may come undone in no time, no matter what time length I used it. That was something that was I NOT willing to take a chance on. Anyway, I remembered that Coastal Scents sells cosmetic brushes at affordable prices. When I saw this brush it was EXACTLY what I wanted along with a matching price. I called and spoke to one of there customer service reps (who was really nice and friendly). Who answered all of my questions about the brush. I placed my order on a Wednesday. I received my brush on that following Saturday. When I received my brush it did not have any foul smell when I received it either! Just a really GREAT brush! Haul: L'oreal HiP Eyeshadow & Eyeliner(s)

Hello once I have a haul. This was done a while back but I found the pictures on my camera so I thought I would show you guys about the products pictures. I have to admit...... I heart L'oreal HIP cosmetics line. I truly do! It started with the lip glosses a couple of years ago. Then I moved to the eyeliner, shadows, foundation, etc. And before I knew it  I pretty much had EVERYTHING I could get my hands on from the line. In a lot of the reviews it gets compared to MAC. Now, I know that is a very large Prada bag to fill. But let me tell you ladies the hype & reviews are T.R.U.E!! The color(s) don't fade, the color pay off is great. No matter what tone you are it does not fade. You can ALWAYS find a sale on HIP at the drug stores(s). Buy one get half off, or my favorite buy one get one FREE!! And for a product junkie that is the best time to get some and try it out. So what are you wait for next time you see a HIP sale give it try. I am very sure that you to will become a HIP product junkie like I am. And fall in love with this wonderful also.  Until next time enjoy......

Smashbox Quick Eyes

Hello! I hope that you are doing well as you reading today's post ;) Well it's getting to be that wonderful time of the year where cosmetics companies put some their best products, together in gift sets for the holiday season! And for a TRUE product junkie like myself, it's (one of)the best times of the year for buying cosmetics. Having a blast trying a lot of stuff and getting it at AWESOME prices!!!! Which makes it all the more better. I have been wanting a shadow liner (aka pencil) brush for a while now. Searching EVERY where I could: Target, Michael's, Sephora, Ulta and of course the MAC counter. I was just unlucky in finding one at the price I was willing to pay for it. (If you are thinking that I was being cheap. Then you would be right!) I'm not willing to pay $18.00 or more for ONE single brush. So when I saw that Ulta was having this Smashbox set for $12.99. I jumped ALL OVER IT!!!!! Now, I wanted the brush that would have been great for me at that price but it came with TWO wonderful eyeshadow(s). The eyeshadow(s) colors are Asap & Pronto. In the picture Asap is on the left. It's a shimmer brown-mauve color. And Pronto is on the right it is a shimmer vanilla-soft tan color. Which is going to look great on all skin-tones. So if you are in the area near an Ulta (or any store) that carries gift set(s). Stop by and take a look to set what great deal awaits you! Until next time.... take care!

NYX Eye Shadow(s) Haul

Hi Ladies!! So the other day I went to Ulta. They are having a BOGO sale this week only on eye shadows and etc. I have a heard a lot of good thing(s) about NYX cosmetics. So I gave them a shot to see how good they are. I am here to tell you that the hype is true about their cosmetics. Good color payoff, great pigmentation of color, which is great for us who love vivid color and it's always good for women of color! I got there trio eye shadows(pretty much what they carried and had in the store). I have worn them for a couple to days to see how I like them. Well I can say that I don't like them I LOVE THEM!!!!
